Mr T as Titan is now affectionaly known as is such a different horse to the one we first started wtih. His flat work has greatly improved as has his jumping. He stands perfectly whilst being mounted. His confidence has grown with the more we have done with him.
I have managed to carry on riding with the broken collar bone to keep T fit. He never moves a muscle while I get on. And this is the horse which took me 20 minutes to get on when we first had him!
MR T GOES HUNTING
We took T hunting with the Coakham Bloodhounds. He was great and loved it. He stood like a rock at the meet and wasn't at all flustered. He jumped like a stag and galloped like he had been doing it all his life. I was far more under control than Sue on Barley who were a blur in the distance totally out of control!!
Winter 2008
T has come out of the winter very much stronger and fitter than last year. He has given a hard time at times but hopefully will now settle back into competition mode in the Spring.
2009
Our first competition of the season was Firle Hunter Trials which we entered the Intermidiate class. A really lovely course. For the first half of the course I was not really in control as T has become very strong. We had 3 stops mainly because he was coming in too fast and not giving himself time to lock into the fence. He stopped the fence before the water but once he had a look sailed over it and splashed half of Sussex through the water! He stopped at the step up and drop fence. He wasn't sure what he was suppose to do but once he had a look was fine. I may change his bit for cross country so I have more control.
